Terms And Conditions

The Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions for Nova Life Coach Academy must be acknowledged during the enrollment process and before the class start date.

Students who do not acknowledge the Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions may forfeit their spot in the class.

This Training Agreement Terms & Conditions (a.k.a. the Agreement) is entered into between Nova Life Coach Academy and the student.

By using this site, you agree to use the site in an appropriate manner, and you may not use the site in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, impair or interfere with the productivity of the site.

The Site is available only U.S. residents and entities that can form legally binding contracts under applicable law. The site and the services offered by the site are not available to minors.

By using, viewing, and/or performing transactions on this site, you have agreed to and are legally bound by the Terms & Conditions.

Use of Website and Training Materials

Nova Life Coach Academy gives the student permission to use its copyrighted materials in conjunction with the class registration and in their private practice once they become a Certified Life Coach by Nova Life Coach Academy.

Unauthorized use of the website and training material is prohibited, which includes, but is not limited to the following:

Training others using the materials provided by Nova Life Coach Academy
The creation, reproduction duplication, copying, selling, renting, reselling, or exploiting of websites, books, workbooks, recordings or other materials using Nova Life Coach Training Program documents, website, and associated materials.
Printing, downloading, and/or using the underlying HTML, text, audio clips, video clips, and other content that is made available to you on this site

If the student chooses not to complete the training program, withdraws before last day of class or does not successfully complete the certification program (e.g. does not complete required assignments/homework), the student is prohibited from further using the training materials or any coaching-related documents provided by Nova Life Coach Academy in any manner.

Code of Conduct

Nova Life Coach Academy has a zero-tolerance policy against harassment, discrimination, violence or other inappropriate behavior.

A Student’s behavior must reflect that of a professional Life Coach in all interactions with Instructors, peers and practice clients inside and outside of class.

Students are expected to treat others with respect, arrive to each class session prepared and on time, adhere to all established agreements and resolve any conflicts in a professional manner.

Students may not participate in class or practice coaching under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Any personal issues that may impair, conflict or interfere with a student’s coaching performance, course commitments, or their professional coaching relationships inside and outside of a class should be escalated to the instructor or the Training Director of Nova Life Coach Academy.

The Director may delay, suspend, or terminate participation in the class if it is determined that the student’s matters cannot be resolved. Depending on the individual circumstances and how much of the class the student has completed, re-assignment to another course offering may be recommended.

Attendance, Missed Classes and Make-ups

During a 1 week Foundation Training Program, a student is allowed to miss up to 4 hours of instruction.

During a 2 week Advanced Training Program, a student is allowed to miss up to 8 hours of instruction.

Students are responsible for missed work and must review the missed class session per the course description guidelines (e.g. recordings, videos. guides, etc.) and make up any work that was assigned during the missed session.

If a student misses more than the allowed hours AND/OR is unable to complete make-up session requirements, the student will be withdrawn from the class and will not achieve certification.

Certifications

Students will only receive certificate of certification if they fulfill all of the training requirements outlined in their training materials; Students enrolled in the program must finish their certification within 6 months of enrollment.

Tuition Payment

Students must make the tuition payment in full prior to commencing the training course. Payment must be completely satisfied before student receives the certification documents.

Past Due Accounts

If a student’s account becomes delinquent or past due for more than 30 days, Nova Life Coach Academy reserves the right to the following actions:

*Assess a $75 monthly late fee beginning on the 30th day after the scheduled payment was due.

*Withdraw the student from the training program with forfeiture of any payments received by Nova Life Coach Academy.

*Withhold the Certificate of Completion until all tuition and past-due fees are paid in full.

*After 90 days of non-payment, the student’s outstanding balance will be sent to a collection agency.

Dispute Resolution

If a student experiences any grievances or issues with Nova Life Coach Academy or the training program, we encourage the student notify Shanika Walls, Director of Training, at Shanika.Walls@novalifecoachacademy.com. Please provide specific details of the issues and concerns, along with contact information.

Academy Cancellations

If it becomes necessary to cancel a training session (level 1 or level 2) for any reason prior to the first day of class, Nova Life Coach Academy will extend the invitation for enrolled students to participate in future sessions of the same program level, up to 6 months. If no upcoming class is available or the timing is unsatisfactory for the student’s schedule, Student will receive a refund after the 6-month scheduling period.

If it becomes necessary to cancel a training class, the instructor will attempt to contact the students at least 24 hours in advance. In the event of an emergency, the instructor will notify the students and make alternate arrangements to cover any missed lessons/material.

Student Cancellation Policy

Student must submit their intent to withdraw or transfer from a class info@novalifecoachacademy.com AND their Instructor, if applicable, as soon as possible. Due to our limited class size and the advanced planning required to make sure we have adequate classes to fill the demand for instruction, we strongly request that a student remain in the class they enroll in and not transfer if at all possible.

No refunds will be offered however a student may transfer to another session for up to 6 months from the initial enrollment date. If the session is not scheduled and course completed within 6 months, the student will forfeit their tuition.

Limitation of Liability

Except as expressly provided otherwise herein or in an applicable supplemental agreement, in no event shall the Company, any of the Company’s affiliates, subsidiaries or data providers, or anyone else involved in creating, producing, delivering, or managing the content of this site (collectively, the “Site Providers”), be liable to you or any third party for any claims whatsoever, including, without limitation, direct, indirect, special, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages (including, without limitation, any lost revenues, lost profits, lost opportunities, loss of prospective economic advantage) arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of this Site, any communications sent to you via this Site or otherwise from the Company (including, without limitation, in the form of electronic mail or via telephone), or information available from this Site including, without limitation, any damages suffered as a result of errors, omissions, inaccuracies, interruptions, defects, delays, computer viruses, loss of use, data or profits, unauthorized access to and alteration of your transmissions and data, and other tangible and intangible losses, arising out of or in any way connected with the use or performance of the site, with the delay or inability to use the site or related services, the provision of or failure to provide services, or from any actions we take or fail to take as a result of email messages or other communications you send us, or for any information, software, products, services and related graphics obtained through the site, or otherwise arising out of the use of the site, whether based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability or otherwise, even if the Company or any of its Site Providers has been advised of the possibility of damages. Without limiting the foregoing, the Site Providers assume no liability or responsibility for damage or injury to persons or property arising from any use of any product, information, idea, or instruction contained in the content of this site.

Some states/jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages and, as a result, the above limitation may not apply to you. If you are dissatisfied with any portion of the Site, or with any of these terms of use, your sole and exclusive remedy is to discontinue using the Site.

You also agree that we are not responsible or liable in any way for injury, loss, or damage to your computer or interception or use of credit card information, related to or resulting from use of the Site or any sites, services, or materials linked or related thereto or therefrom and also are not responsible or liable in any way for any injury, loss, claim, or damage relating to or resulting from any part of the Site operating or not operating on computers or networks used by you or communicating with such computers or networks.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company; its affiliates, licensees and partners; and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, members, licensors, representatives, and third-party service providers of the Site (“Indemnified Parties”) from and against any and all allegations, demands, claims, liabilities, damages, fines, losses, expenses, penalties, or costs of whatsoever nature, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and court costs, and whether by reason of death of or injury to any person or loss of or damage to any property or otherwise (“Claims”) arising or resulting in any way from any violation of these Terms or the services provided to you as part of the Site or any related act or failure to act by you and whether or not occasioned or contributed to by the negligence of the Company or any agent or employee of Indemnified Parties (except as and to the extent prohibited by applicable law) including, without limitation, any Claims related to infringement by you of the intellectual property rights of any person, including without limitation, copyright, patent, trade secret, trade mark, artist rights, droit moral, privacy, publicity or rights under other intellectual property laws. Without limiting the foregoing, if you cause a technical disruption of the Site or the systems transmitting the Site to you or others, you agree to be responsible for any and all losses, liabilities, expenses, damages, and costs, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and court costs, arising or resulting from that disruption.

In the event that any Claim is made or any action or proceeding is brought against the Indemnified Parties, or any of them, arising out of or connected with the Terms, any such Indemnified Party may, by reasonable notice to you, require you, at your expense, to resist such Claim or take over the defense of any such action or proceeding and employ counsel for such purpose, such counsel to be subject to the prior written approval of such Indemnified Party, which approval shall be deemed to have been given hereby in the case of counsel acting for your insurance underwriters engaged in such resistance or defense. You shall cooperate with us in the defense of any Claim. We reserve the right, at our own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you

Nova Life Coach Academy cannot guarantee your results, earnings, or career success as a result of your enrollment in our programs, nor can we provide you with professional, business and/or legal advice. By completing the Nova Life Coach Academy certification training, you acknowledge and agree that Nova Life Coach Academy is not responsible for your results, earnings, or career success as a result of our Coach Certification Program training and is not responsible for providing professional, business and/or legal advice.

Nova Life Coach Academy reserves the right in our sole discretion to refuse or terminate your access to our Coach Certification Program trainings, Products, Services, and/or our program materials, website, e-mail communications, or any other method of communications related to our Coach Certification Program trainings, Products, or Services at any time without notice.

Nova Life Coach Academy also reserves the right to modify or amend the terms and conditions of this agreement as needed. It is your responsibility to check periodically for any changes we may make to these Terms & Conditions.
